A fairly big turnout, was good to meet Marty and have a quick chat (He was on the Micra forums prior to the MCM days) as well as put some faces to names.

Some very tough cars out as well. Good to see such a culmination of the car community there – pretty much something for everyone – Japan, Australia, euros, old models, new models.

Sarah took park in the this year’s Run for the Kids – and as with most of her fun runs, I head in as well and snap off some shots while waiting for her at the finish line.

Great job to all the participants! Until the next run… Which is most likely the Mother’s Day Classic and Run Melbourne!

Was in Melbourne tonight roaming around Southbank, captured the facial expression of this kid…priceless.

Sarah, otherwise known as “The Wife” looking into the sunset down at Rye, VIC at Easter

I was driving down some road and saw this, the camera was on my passenger seat. I snapped it while driving..Probably should have stopped and set something up.

This was taken a few years ago, after the Australian Open. Connects Melbourne Park to the MCG I think over some of the railway lines. I thought the purple lights came out great.

It was a nice way to spend an hour or so wandering around on such an awesome Spring night.

Drove past this building, thought that it would make a nice backdrop for my car. Somewhat related is the 2, the model of the car is a 200SX. Make of it what you will. This was located around the Docklands area. Cropped the sky off this one, this was around sunset.

An art sculpture of a cow, up a tree which lives permanently in Melbourne’s Docklands precinct. It was made by John Kelly and was based around flood imagery from Australia. The sun was setting, and for some reason I like putting the sun behind things so here we go. Plus the sky was looking pretty cool… Initially this was a portrait oriented image but I cropped it a bit and adjusted some levels as well.

I haven’t been around Docklands for awhile, so i’m not sure if the silhouette of a large green and red ball is always there but it made it into this photo. I assume it might be there for Christmas..either way, I’d like to find out what the story is behind the pillars left in the water. I know the caps on them are to stop seagulls standing on them, but i think they’re just left over foundations of whatever used to be there.

During this time we’ve also made some new international friends by the name of Dave (USA) and Zack (Europe) – So shout outs to those guys.

Last night a few of us went for a look down Southbank by the Yarra river, Unfortunately I didn’t have my sync cables fso was relying on the SB-26′s optical slave function..

Apologies for the lack of updates during the past two weeks. The weather in Melbourne has been BLOODY HOT..and I hate skating in 35c weather.
